This was a creative idea, and the execution was done well. I'm glad you were able to get some interaction from passersby. You make a good king. Good job!
I thought your idea was so funny, I can't believe you were able to keep a straight face:) I really liked the part where you sat in front of Grill Smith!! Nice Job
Mad props for getting out there and doing this to it's fullest. There is absolutely no way I would have been able to get up the courage or maintain a straight face through this. I love the way people actually came over and intereacted... or interacted by moving away....
I think this was a really brave idea. I love the juxtaposition of the trash/king. You had really great audience reaction and really captured that in your video. I love how true you stayed to the performance the whole time. Your stance really was very king like! Really great job!
oh my god, are you the younger brother of Burger King who was ignored and neglected when he was a small boy? hahah, god this was too funny!i loved the reactions of your poor victims! i loved how you would just throw the garbage and sit on top of it. hahah great job!
Hahahaha frank, your performance art was hilarious. I was a little grossed out by the fact that you were sitting on trash, but I guess that was kind of the point! i dont know what i would have done if i had walked by you and had no clue what you were doing. I think you should wear that crown all the time!
The best part about this performance was how you decontextualized the trash you picked up on the side of the road by making it the king's throne. You also picked a really great location with people who are certainly less open-minded than college kids about this kind of thing. It made for a really good result!
The trash king, great idea! I think this could be tied into an environmental protection protest and have people just sit on garbage bags in malls to raise awareness. Very courageous
The trash king was awesome. The people interacting and commenting on your character really added to the project.

ReplyDeleteTHIS WAS SO FUNNY. I absolutely loved the reactions you got. I think the Brandon Mall was the perfect place to go to do this. Love it.
