I love how you did yours in a box, and the whole concept of someone having many layers...if you open one, you get another and so on. I agree with you that the best part is the inside where you can open your face. This is a great concept and I think you did an excellent job!
Frank, adding layers to your piece was its biggest strength. It is a piece that sparked curiosity in me because there was a physical action needed in order to view the entire piece.
oooooh frank, your piece reminded me of Shrek and the onion with layers speech. haha i really liked your box layers--i thought that was really interesting! it also reminded me of the Russian wooden dolls (when you open one, there be another doll in that one, and then another, and then another....)
I like how you built your project. You really thought outside the box (no pun intended) when thinking about what surface to put your xerox pictures on. I especially like how your feet hang down and how at first it looks like your hands are holding it all together until you open it all up.
This is a really great idea with the layers. It kind of reminds me of Shrek when they talk about being similar to an onion because of the layers. Good idea to do it with the box; it really shows the way that certain parts of ourselves are only visible during certain times and to certain people.
